Big government proponents will point to the majority (7-2) opinion as justification for one of the worst decisions the Supreme Court has ever made. Federal law that is at odds with the will of the people, that is forced upon the people by the ruling oligarchs is the law that should have more appropriately been struck down - not law that represents the will of the people.
